At My Preferred Insurance & HomeSolutions, we believe strongly in giving back to our communities. With that in mind, we present the three-day Shindig Charity Music Festival annually during the first weekend in August. All proceeds are donated to the charities selected each year. Previous charities have included the Northwood Charitable Foundation, Zelienople Police Department, Jackson Township Police Department, Harmony Fire District and Harmony EMS.
Corporate sponsorships are a vital part of bringing the Shindig to life each year, and we are profoundly grateful for their continued support.
We are proud to announce that since 2016, we have given more than $100,000 to local charities, and in 2025 alone, we raised close to $22,000 through the Shindig.
Throughout the year, we hold other Shindig-related charitable activities for the community as well, including an Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas in July, Thanksgiving food drives and the Stuff a Truck toy drive. Our Community Partners are pivotal in working with us to help make these activities a success. We invite all local small businesses to partner with us in these efforts.
